(lead guitar/lead vocals) is a Berklee College of Music Graduate with a degree in Music Composition. He studied with Jim Kelly and Brett Wilmott and received awards and scholarships for his compositions. George has performed with many successful bands. George has over twenty years of experience in teaching guitar and bass. His teaching program places special emphasis on student performance with recitals and recording projects as well as student ensembles. |
Jaco Sheid

(bass / vocals) Jaco (John) Sheid has been playing bass since 1973. In NY he played in many bands including Sunday Mass, Tomy Gunn and the Twerps, Hot Water, Blue Project and The Bennies. Jaco moved to Florida in 2008 and played with The 39 Avenue Garage Band before joining The West Bay Band in 2010. He is inspired by the playing of the great Jaco Pastorius and Paul McCartney. |
Steve Meligan

(drums/vocals) AKA Stevie Drummer, moved to the area in 1969, found a love for the drum’s after seeing Don Brewer perform with Grand Funk Railroad. Steve has played with numerous band’s including 3 EZ Piece’s, Whiskey Smith & Co. CW Moss & the Getaway Band, The No Name Storm Band & the Juke Joint Gypsies, opening for such notable’s as Clarence Gatemouth Brown, Bo Diddly, the Bellamy Bros, Molly Hatchett & the Atlanta Rhythm Section. He has been on hiatus for a year looking for the right situation, which he believe’s is The West Bay Band. |
